Stoner Hive premieres Fragments in full

Stoner Hive has premiered Mörkekraft’s debut album Fragments in full, one day before its official release through Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records.

In their feature, Stoner Hive describes Mörkekraft as “a three-man force forging heavy rock like iron in a storm-lit fjord” and places the album firmly in a landscape of seventies classic rock, modern stoner and psychedelic sensibilities.

The premiere highlights the opening track Follow The Spiders as a “battering ram” that creeps, crawls and moves every bone in your body. From there, Fragments is described as an album packed with thick, fuzzed-out riffs, golden age rock grooves and a warm analog sound — “like a fireside saga sung beneath those northern skies.”

Stoner Hive also points to the album’s colossal Sabbathian riffs, wandering space rock echoes and bluesy laments, while noting how songs like Godspeed bring a more ballad-like and emotionally charged contrast to the heavier material. According to the feature, Mörkekraft have managed to capture those dark forces and transform them into something euphoric.
